How to see all payments that require authorisation

Modified on Wed, 18 Jun at 1:30 PM

Payment Authorisation is a crucial step in the payroll process within Cintra Cloud. It signifies your approval for the system to generate BACS files for payments on your behalf. Please note: If you do not authorise your payments then your BACS files will not be processed.

To view all payments awaiting your authorisation, you will need to log into Cintra Cloud. If you do not have the necessary account or correct user role, please contact your system administrator.

Upon logging into Cintra Cloud, you will find the Payments menu located at the top of your screen.

Once you click on the Payments option, you will be presented with an overview displaying all salary, HMRC, and Third Party payments that require your attention.

This view is based on your account permissions. If you lack the necessary permission to view a specific payroll, it will not be displayed on this screen. Also, if you have no permission to see a payroll within the PAYE scheme or the accounting group, you will not see the HMRC or Third Party payment.

To authorise the payment, you need the Payment Authorisation role. Click on the Authorise Payment button.

Once you click the Authorise Payments button, the following form will appear:

Carefully examine the information displayed on the form, ensuring that the figures presented are correct as per the pay date. Once you have reviewed the details and are confident that the payment amounts are accurate and the pay date is correct, tick the box to confirm the figures as well as the pay date, and click the Authorise Bureau to Process BACS when you are confident the payments are correct and you are ready for Cintra to process the bank transfers (BACS).

If you identify any incorrect figures or are unsure about the payment, click Cancel and inform your bureau team immediately.
