How to create a Passkey with 1Password

1Password is a popular password management tool. This page explains how to create a Passkey for your Cintra account and then store the Passkey in 1Password.


If you are not using 1Password, then an identical procedure can be used to save a Passkey in your preferred password manager.


Instructions to create a Passkey

  1. Login to 1Password.
  2. Login to Cintra Cloud. Login to Cintra Cloud in the normal way by entering your email address, password and MFA code
  3. Click to open the profile menu. Click the top right corner to drop down a menu.
  4. Click Passkey settingsThe Passkey settings menu option opens a modal that lists all your existing passkeys and allows you to create a new passkey.
  5. Click Add new passkey. When you click the Add new passkey button, 1Password will pop-up a window to save the new passkey.
  6. Click New Item. 
  7. Click Save.
  8. Congratulations you have created a Passkey that can be used when you next login to Cintra Cloud
