November 2022Automatic CalculationWhen adding new employees via Cintra Cloud, the system will automatically perform the initial calculation. This allows you to quickly view the salaries or allowances entered using the new employee wizard.

November 2022Associate posts with one-off paymentsTo accommodate customers who use connect hours worked and any other one-off payments, to posts, we have been enhancing the one-off payment/deduction wizard. Next week we will release post related functionality within the one-off payment wizard and edit one-off payment. Further work will be done to enable posts in the bulk one-off payment/deduction import tool, and we are aiming to have this in place by end of the year.

October 2022We have moved the add new buttonsTo improve your Cintra Cloud experience we have moved the following buttons:
Each add buttons can now be accessed by clicking on the corresponding tile (see animation). For example, if you would like to add a new starter, click on the New starters tile, and then click on Add new starters, which is located to the right of the page under the tiles.

September 2022Submission functionality for effortless payroll handover.To improve the payroll hand-off process, we have built payroll submission functionality into Cintra Cloud.
When clients have completed their period input, they will be able to click on the new ‘Submit’ button located on their payroll page. Once submitted, the payroll will be locked for the client and OSS will be notified via Cintra Cloud messaging, indicating work can commence on the client’s payroll.
We are currently piloting this functionality with a small set of clients and working alongside the Operational Readiness team with the aim to roll out this functionality to all source clients. Don’t worry if you are not yet familiar with this functionality, your Operational Readiness team will be in touch soon.

September 2022Introducing the user-friendly one-off payment and deduction wizard in Cintra Cloud.
By popular demand we have added a one-off payment and deduction wizard that can be used by both Payroll and Group users in Cintra Cloud. The wizard can be accessed by clicking on the 'one-off payments' button located at the top of the screen, or by clicking 'Add New' from the 'One-off payments' page.
Users can use this feature to add individual one-off payments to employees without needing to prepare a spreadsheet for import. Easy access to edit or delete one off payments has also been added to the one-off payments page: For more information, see How Do I Create Individual One-Off Payments and Deductions?

August 2022Instantly Identify HMRC Tasks on New Starter PageWe have added a new column to the New Starter page, quickly see if any HMRC checklists need to be completed.

July 2022Simplified NavigationIt is now easier than ever to navigate our system. At the top of the page we have a clear and comprehensive menu that is always visible. A glance at this menu reveals every major feature of the system and a single click takes you where you need to go. Not only is this new navigation intuitive and easy to use it also paves the way for some really exciting developments that are on the horizon.

July 2022Streamlining payroll oversight with Cintra GroupsFor those clients who have Cintra Groups licensed and to assist payroll administrators in checking group input, we have introduced group column and group filters. This allows payroll administrators to click through each of the tiles, view employee group allocation and filter group data. |

Effortless payslip notificationsA switch in Cintra Cloud turns the notifications on and then the emails are automatically sent to Self-Service employees whenever payslips are published. To switch the notification on, go to the Organisation Settings in Cintra Cloud.

Easily identify variances for your salary and allowances.A salary and allowance variance pill has been added allowing users to identify current vs previous period changes.

Cintra Groups now has interactive tiles
Development for manager access to Cintra Cloud continues and tiles have now been rolled out on the manager dashboard.
Users can click on the Gross Pay, New Starters and Leaver tiles to drill down into the data. Work continues to allow drill down into the one-off and recurring payments and this will be complete by the end of this month.

One-off payment history
One-off payment imports are now linked to batches in Cintra iQ. This means the OSS team now have visibility on uploads and the ability to delete any uploads that may have happened by mistake. Scroll along the batch screen in iQ, and you can see if the batch has come in via the cloud.
History of one-off payment imports can also now be accessed through Cintra Cloud.
(Currently only released to Cintra and PSSG users until download functionality is in place).
