How do I record carbon emissions?

You can record carbon emissions on your Expense claim, depending on what category you select.

To record CO2 emissions

  1. Sign in to Capture Expense. You are taken to the Overview page.

  2. Select New expenses claim. The Add Expense page appears.

  3. Select the relevant transport Category. The corresponding fields appear.

  4. Fill in the Journey End.
  5. Press Enter on the keyboard. The Actual Distance and CO2 emission is automatically calculated.

    Note: Click the Attach Receipt button if necessary to attach a receipt.
  6. Click the Save button. The record is now in Expenses> Draft.

  7. Continue to add claims by clicking the + Expense button in the side menu.
    Note: You can also add an expense via Receipts by selecting the receipt and selecting + Expense from the Actions menu. For more information, see How Do I Raise Draft Expense Claims
  8. Report on the CO2 emissions.
