How do I produce a gender pay gap report?

Modified on Tue, 10 Dec at 3:09 PM

Within Cintra iQ, you can create a Gender Pay Gap (GPG) report by extracting snapshots of data through the Gender Pay Gap module. When the extracts are made, the calculations for the GPG report are based on data gathered as at a snapshot date. The mandatory date is the 5th April 2017 for the private sector, and the 31st March 2017 for the public sector.

You can create as many snapshots as you want, for any snapshot date of your choosing. In this way you can monitor your gender pay gap through the year, as well as at the mandatory snapshot reporting date.
Once a snapshot of data is created, you can view and edit the employee level data, and then view the calculations produced from this data within the GPG report.
Cintra iQ allows you to make a data snapshot regardless of how many employees you have, however, there is only a statutory reporting obligation for organisations with 250 or more employees as at the snapshot date.

For more information about Gender Pay Gap, see the Gender Pay Gap Check List.

To produce the report

  1. Navigate to the Report tab of the Gender Pay Gap - Snapshot Details window.
Go to Cintra iQ: Payroll> Payroll Tools> Gender Pay Gap> Snapshot Details
  2. Select the desired GPG Data Extract period from the drop-down list. The Report appears.
  3. Continue to Save and/or Print.
