How do I upload receipts via email?

You can email a receipt to Capture Expense and it will be automatically scanned and a draft expense created.
 

To email your receipt

  1. Log in to the email address you use for your Capture Expense account. 
  2. Create a new message.
  3. Send your receipt to [email protected].

Note: Your receipt may take a moment to appear.

 
4. Once received Capture Expense will automatically create a Draft Expense pre-populating data read from the receipt, e.g. date and merchant, for you to review prior to submitting.
 
 
NOTE: Company Credit Card Holder
If you are a company credit card holder the receipt will either:
  1. Go into your Receipts folder or
  2. Automatically attach to the relevant credit card transaction in your Expenses Draft folder
