How do I enable currency?

Capture Expense is multi currency and supports historical foreign exchange rates. For staff travelling abroad or located in other countries, expenses can be raised with the same currency, which will then be converted back to the base. The historical rate is based on the date of the claim. 

Note

The user can also default the currency from user settings and preferences​.

1. Setup the currency

  1. Sign in to Capture Expense. The overview page appears.
  2. Navigate to the Currency tab.
    Go to Setup> Settings> Currency

  3. Add the relevant currencies to your organisation.

2. Enable the category's currency 

  1. Navigate to Categories
    Go to Setup> Categories.
  2. Select the relevant Category.
  3. Ensure the Allow multi currency option is selected.

    This adds the currency option to the claimant's expense form.

  4. Continue to enable the currency on all the applicable Categories

You can also set a default currency to an individual employee in their User Account
