How do I import employees?
- Navigate to File > Import > Data Import. The import file window appears.
- From the Data File dropdown, select Employee.
- Once the data file is selected, it will produce a list of tables data can be imported to. Select the appropriate table.
- Select Table Columns to view the required fields. Elements in red are compulsory and must be present on the import sheet. All others can be added on.

- First select the upload icon in the top right corner
- Upload your file, click the 3 dots in the Please select file to be imported, and select the file you just imported.
Excel spreadsheet - import preparation
- In an excel, ensure that all red elements from the Table Column are present.
- Naming convention for headings is not important as long as it is clear what these columns represent.
- Important:
- Date format must be DD/MMM/YYYY
- Spread sheet must be saved as CSV (Comma delimited)
- Spread sheet must be closed before it can be imported
- Your file is ready to import. Return to iQ.
