FTE calculation methods
Based on Contract Hours

The values derived from the Job column are based on the Standard Working Time set in the Job Summary form. For more information, see Standard Working Time.
Direct Entry
Use the Direct Entry method if you have an employee who doesn’t follow any of your standard post working hours or working pattern FTEs. You can manually enter the FTE Factor value of your choice directly on to the Insert Employee Post FTE form. You can use this method in Time Management and Post History.
Based on Working Pattern
Use the Based on Working Pattern method if you want to use the FTE Factor that is set up in the Work Patterns Details form within Employer Settings> Work Patterns. You can use this method in Time Management and Post History.
