MCR: Can I have a single contract represented by multiple employee in post records?

Modified on Tue, 10 Dec at 3:05 PM

How do I have a single contract represented by multiple employees?

Single Contract/Roles can be represented by a single employee in post record, and a single pension contribution record. You can also have a single contract represented by multiple employee in post records. For example, where additional responsibility has been separated out and is indicated by a separate employee in post record. However, a single pension contribution record is not attached to a post. C1/R1 are both posts but has one line in the MCR file and the annual amounts are summed together.

  Important:

If you have multiple posts representing one single contract, you need to make sure that your role identifier is exactly the same for both posts.
