How do I create a document format?

Within the Preferences/Installation Name window within Cintra iQ, as a system administrator, you can specify which type of document format a user can upload into the Cintra iQ database and the maximum sizes for those formats. 

 

1. Navigate to the Document formats for upload pane.
   Go to Cintra iQ: System Administrator> Preferences/Installation> iQ Details tab
2. Click the New button. The Create Document Format for Upload form appears.
3. Enter the desired extension.
4. Select the Allow Upload via Cintra iQ option, if necessary.
5. Enter the maximum file size for Cintra iQ in MB.
   

     Note:

   When the user uploads their documents, an error message appears if the document size exceeds what is set in this field.

6. Select the Allow upload via Self-Service option, if necessary.
7. Enter the maximum file size for Self-Service in MB.
   

     Note:

   When the user uploads their documents, an error message appears if the document size exceeds what is set in this field.

8. Click the OK button. The file format is set and appears in the Document Formats for upload pane.
